Why it's time to rebrand Playmakers Wanted

A Somewhat Embarassing Story

Playmakers Wanted has been many things through the years; from a gamer tag in Socom 2, in the earliest online shooter days, to a clan family name in Clash of Clans. When we started down this road, my mission was to combine two of the things that I know best; custom apparel and gaming. While I looked around the landscape of custom jersey design, fulfillment, and team stores, I knew there had to be a better way.

One Last Hoorah!

To see Playmakers Wanted off, we are running a contest with a Nintendo Switch as the grand prize. Take photos wearing your PW jerseys and upload them to your account to be entered into the drawing.

So Why's it Time Now?

Internally, we've known for quite some time that Playmakers Wanted was going to be in need of a rebrand at some point. Our thoughts have always been that the name serves well as a slogan but falls short as a stand alone brand. The idea for the rebrand has been brewing for one and a half years. As we continue to develop our technology and generate larger and a greater amount of leads, it became more and more clear that Playmakers Wanted just couldn't hold its own, as a brand name, against some of the very prospects that were reaching out to us. That is no longer the case. We are now confident that our brand meets our own standard that our technology sets. We are unanimously excited about the new brand and the opportunities that may come.

I want to give a special thanks to Danko and Aman for seeing this through. I couldn't have done it without you guys. I hope it means as much to you as it does to me.

But we're not done yet!
